Peter Anthony Fopeano, 43, died unexpectedly on November 25, 2008. He was born Oct. 31, 1965, in Kansas City, Mo., and resided in Platte County most of his life. He was a graduate of Park Hill High School and the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City. Peter began acting when he was a child at his grandparent's theatre, The Bell Road Barn Playhouse in Parkville, Mo., and he remained actively involved in many Kansas City theatres throughout his life. Peter is survived by his sons, JT and Alex and their mother, Barbara; his parents, Michael and Jane Fopeano; his sister, Wendy and his brother, Joe. He has many aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends who held a special place in their hearts for him. Peter had an infectious laugh and a dry, quick wit and kept his family entertained on or off the stage. He had a sensitive and loving heart and was very proud of his sons.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, Dec. 8, at 7 p.m. in the Jenkin and Barbara David Theatre in Alumni Hall, on the campus of Park University, Parkville. Casual attire is acceptable.
