Volunteers Needed
The Audio Reader program at the Alphapointe Association for the Blind is looking for volunteers. This is a great opportunity for actors to brush-up on their vocal skills and help a good cause at the same time. Volunteers read and record local newspapers that are broadcast daily via special radios to the visually impaired. It's really a great way to practice your craft. It only takes about an hour and a half a week.
The organization is always looking for volunteers to do this on a regular basis and as subs. For more information, please call Jennifer Kraenzle, the volunteer coordinator, at 816 237 2099.
