This Saturday, January 21st, Westport will be sponsoring the official after party
for the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art’s annual Party Arty
celebration. Party Arty is the premiere fundraising event for the Young
Friends of Art and Westport is proud to support its prestigious neighbor.
There will be KC Strip trolleys providing free transport to and from the
event. This is the second year of this event and the
cross promotion is expected to have an even bigger impact due to the mild winter and
increased awareness. While the actual event is Saturday evening, Westport is also promoting a Sunday brunch.
While in Westport, don't forget to check out Sama Zama! This Monday marked the opening of Westport’s newest eatery, Sama Zama. Formerly known as One Bite
Japanese Grill, they have relocated from Overland Park and beautifully
renovated the space at 425 Westport Road. Come try their exciting array
of diverse, healthy preparations. Congratulations to Erika and her staff!
